MAIDEN
ROCK CAMP RULES 2004
Office hours vary daily. Notices are posted so you can locate
us
within the camp.
Cameras are placed as security and protection within the campgrounds.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT 2:00 p.m.
EVERYONE MUST STOP TO REGISTER AT THE OFFICE:
This includes guests. Guests who do not register may be asked
to leave.
You are legally and financially responsible for your children,
guests and pets at
all times.
Everyone, except seasonal's, are expected to wear wrist bands
at
all times. This is a safety and security feature for our campers.
QUIET TIME:
All children must be at campsite by 10:00p.m.
Music must be turned OFF by 11:00p.m. and conversation toned
down.
POOL RULES:
Regular swim wear must be worn- no cut off shorts or unhemmed
shorts.
Take a brief shower before entering pool.
Do not take diapered babies or toddlers in the pool area.
There are new products out for children that are expected
to be used.
No food or beverages in the pool area.
Please limit the use of lotions.
Pool use is for campers and registered guests only.
Please do not set up any plastic pools as there is a swimming
pool
available.
FIRE SAFETY RULES:
Build fires in the rings provided. Do not move these! If your
site
does not have a fire ring, use a bare spot where fire was
previously built.
Do not use liquid fire starter. Keep children away from fires.
Use regular firewood. Do not cut trees or furniture. Wood
can be purchased in the office. Do
not take wood from our wooded areas.
No fire shall be allowed during droughts.
Hot coals shall be put in fire proof containers. Do not place
hot items in our dumpsters.
Absolutely no garbage is to be placed in the fire rings.
PERSONAL SAFETY:
Wear proper foot covering at all times. When walking in the
wooded
areas, boots, long sleeve shirts and pants are advisable.
This park has a natural environment, so watch out for uneven
ground, branches, rocks etc.
Examine yourself and children for wood ticks.
Parents are responsible for their children at all times. This
includes but is not limited to; river, pool, and pond areas.
This
also includes roads and play areas.
No swimming or wading in the river.
No firearms, or weapons of any kind allowed in campgrounds.
No fireworks.
We ask that you not utilize chainsaw or axes on the premises.
CARE OF THE CAMPGROUND PROPERTY:
Only garbage from food and beverage containers shall be put
in our dumpsters.
We expect that you will separate out all glass, tin cans,
plastics etc. and place
these in the appropriate labeled containers.
Absolutely no grills, lawn chairs, gas cans, cushions, appliances,
or clothing items etc. shall be placed in our dumpsters!!!!
A fine will be given for this at owners discretion.
Do not move picnic tables without permission. Do not place
hot items on picnic tables.
Please help keep bathrooms clean and limit shower time.
No person shall disturb, destroy, damage, deface or remove
any park property. This includes destruction or removal of
rocks from rock walls, gardens and pond areas etc.
No collecting or harvesting of plant life, including but not
limited to wild flowers, mushrooms, firewood, trees etc.
As we attempt to conserve water, please do not wash your vehicles,
campers or leave faucets running.
No water balloons please.
PETS - Owners Responsibilities:
Leashed at all times.
No pets left alone chained to trees or tables etc.
Clean up pet waste and dispose of properly.
No excessive barking or aggressive behavior will be tolerated,
you may be asked to leave.
Damages from pets will result in evacuation from camp and
the financial responsibility is the pet owners.
Only one dog per site.
NO VEHICLES
SHALL EXCEED A SPEED OF 10-MILES PER HOUR.
RECREATIONAL SUPPLIES AND SUGGESTIONS:
Bike rentals
Volleyball, Horseshoes, Basketball and equipment for table
tennis are in the offfice.
Mini-golf $3.00: Clubs must be signed out.
Playground equipment
Fishing docks on the river.
The neighbors have a driving range for your enjoyment, with
equipment available.
