Our
swimming pool is opened from late May through September and
is free of charge to all campers. Shower and changing facilities
are available. No life guard, so children MUST have an adult
in the pool area with them at all times.
Pool
hours are from 11:00a.m. to 8:00p.m
Volleyball,
Horseshoes
We
have a volleyball area with sand, and horse shoe pits for friendly
tournaments. Basketball area is at Maiden Rock West.
Playground
Area
We
offer two playground areas. Activities include slides, rope
climb, toddler and standard swings, and a cool lookout tower.
There are tables for the adults to sit and rest while their
children play.
Fishing,
Canoeing
Our dock is located on the
beautiful Cannon River. Great for fishing, launching a canoe,
or just relaxing. We do not sell bait. Canoeing is free to
seasonal campers and their guests. Life jackets are required
and available at the office.
Biking/Nature
Trails
Camp
Maiden Rock is located directly adjacent to the paved scenic
39 mile long Sakatah State Hiking & Biking Trail. It takes
you through southern minnesotas beautiful lake region and
the "back to nature" upper Cannon River Valley.
So come enjoy a bike ride on our trails or the beautiful state
trail.
Bike rentals are available on the West side for $2.00 per
hour.
